Kevin crane

I’m Kevin Crane ( 2CraftyCranes). I have been a woodturner, woodworker and pyrographer for 15 years and since retiring can now spend more time on my passion. 

My pieces are crafted in my workshop in the heart of Wiltshire. I use locally sourced timber which I season and process myself, this process takes many years but I enjoy the journey from log to finished artwork. Almost all of the timber I use is British hardwood, if I do work with exotic woods they are reclaimed or FSC-certified.

My pieces are both beautiful and functional, inspired by the natural colour and grain of the wood.

As well as having a regular order from a prestigious local knife company I display and sell my work at Made in Bradford on Avon, craft fairs and online on Etsy and Facebook.

Meeting customers, interacting to ensure they get the item they treasure, is the heart of what I do.
