I am a local printmaker inspired by the constantly changing and fragile nature of the landscape. The fascinating textural elements found within nature form a large part of my artwork which is semi abstract and has a rich yet subtle colour palette.

Printmaking techniques such as collagraph, monoprinting and etching are used and are often combined together to produce unique original artworks which are built up layer by layer, creating beautiful multilayered prints.

Dramatic coastal landscapes of Cornwall and Scotland are primary sources of inspiration, but also the gentler hills around Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire provide an ever changing landscape. Rich colours, rolling hills, atmospheric mists and woodland areas all provide inspiration for new prints.

I also make hand bound books using bookbinding techniques such as Japanese stab binding, hard case binding and pamphlet stitch binding. These techniques are combined with original printmaking art to create stunning sketchbooks and notebooks.
